Pit and Fissure Sealants: Recent Clinical Recommendations

The National Guidelines Clearinghouse issued the current release of Evidence-based clinical recommendations for the use of pit-and-fissure sealants.
The guideline includes recommendations on caries prevention, noncavitated carious lesions and resin-based versus glass ionomer cement. Supporting evidence and methodology are also included.
